I just love bangle bracelets, I believe you can never have too many, so it was only natural for me to make some. I love the jingle noise they make when I wear a lot of them. When I started making bangles I wanted them to be different, not just your average bangle, I wanted them to have a little something extra. With this bangle series I used primarily cold connection techniques, wire rivets and tube rivets. This technique obviously connects the bracelets together but it also gives them, I feel, a nice decorative touch. The bangles are made of heavy gauge copper wire, forged and textured, and I always like to add some sterling silver. I think that the copper and silver always look just fabulous together especially with a nice warm patina that brings out the texture on the pieces. Each bracelet is unique in it's own way, they look great by themselves or worn with a bunch of other bangles the way I like to wear them.
