Jewelry Set

I thought I should make a pair of earrings with a matching necklace. I recently bought these little blue apatite crystals and wanted to use them but was a little worried about their size. My fingers don't work well with small objects, things just slip right through them, but it was easier than I thought. I used the smaller end of your average hammer to texture the backing of the earrings and pendant., hard soldered the wire on the back of the pendent and earrings

However I hammered to flatten the wire before soldering them to the back of the pendant and earrings. I balled up the end of the wires on the pendant to create a bail for the necklace and added some silver circles to the top of the pendant.

I easy soldered the bezel strip onto the pendant and earrings and set the crystals. The backing of the pendant and earrings were small scrap pieces of silver left over from a previous project.  I always try to use every piece of silver, a little piece of scrap silver can turn into a piece of jewelry.
