Brooch Challenge N. 5

Well I made brooch number 5 just in the nick of time. I am always wondering where time goes, it just flies by and then I realize I have one day left to make my brooch. For this brooch I made my own fibula similar to the first brooches I made. Just some wire wrapping and and texture with a chasing hammer, then soldered on the domed discs.

At first the brooch was flatter but then I though it would be cool to make the coil some what like a vortex therefore giving it more dimension.

Now I have until Sunday for brooch number 6, hopefully I will come up with some good ideas..........
